From Lonely Planet ....

"You can't miss the Virgin Trading Post which sells homemade fudge, ice cream, and every Western knickknack known to man. It's pure, kitschy fun."

COMING TO ZION: COME SEE US

This week is National Park Week in America, and the country's biggest celebration of national heritage.

The idea behind the week-long initiative is about making great connections, exploring amazing places, discovering open spaces, enjoying affordable vacations and enhancing America’s best idea—the national parks.

It's all happening in your national parks. The National Park Service is once again partnering with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America's national parks, to present National Park Week until Apri 23.

If you planning a trip to Zion Nation Park in southern Utah this week, or indeed any week, stop by Fort Zion and the Virgin Trading Post, where you will be assured of a warm welcome and some tasty treats at the world-famous restaurant.
