"You can't miss the Virgin Trading Post which sells homemade fudge, ice cream, and every Western knickknack known to man. It's pure, kitschy fun."

You can aso leave your comments and reviews on our Facebook page, just like Nikki from Arizona did yesterday, She wrote: "So much fun. The petting zoo made the stop well worth it. Cracking open your own Geode was well worth the money. This geode is more than 20 million years old and I was the first one to see the beauty that is inside. A  place you MUST stop."

Thank you Nikki, and to everyone who takes the time to share their experiences with the world.

WHAT'S FOR SALE AT THE VIRGIN TRADING POST?

You can buy many mementos of your visit to Zion National Park, Southern Utah and Virgin at The Virgin Trading Post. Here are three items that are popular purchases with our visitors.

First on the list, and made right here in Virgin, is Prickly Pear Honey (right). It's perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth, and can be used as a drizzle for your favorite ice cream and pancakes. At $7.99 is also excellent value for money, and the perfect foodie memory to take away from your visit to The Virgin Trading Post.

Next we have the perfect remedy if you've fallen in love with our Alpacas in the Petting Farm. We promise it's not home made - and indeed its sourced from the other side of the country, but our Alpaca Jerky, at $14.99, is another popular choice for visitors to Fort Zion and the Virgin Trading Post.

IF YOU LIKE US, TELL THE WORLD

Customer feedback is extremely important to any business, and here at Fort Zion and the Virgin Trading Post we take each and every comment, whether made personally or online, extremely seriously. That's why we want to share this one from Yelp.com left on April 13 this year by Gwendolyn from PA.
"This was one of the highlights of our trip to Zion.
"This family run business has been around for several generations and is just darling. There is a restaurant, a general store, a recreated play western village and a petting zoo with adorable animals.
"The prince of the petting zoo is Sundance,  the 28-year-old donkey. He's such a sweet boy. All of the animals are rescues and are cared for by the owners.
"$1 buys three carrots. We didn't have an opportunity to try the food. Thanks Fort Zion."
Thank you Gwendolyn for leaving this wonderful review. It means the world to know we're making people happy.
